These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ForgeLift app (“ForgeLift,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by John Santia. By downloading, accessing, or using ForgeLift, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your license to use ForgeLift is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA and describe how ForgeLift works, including the ForgeLift PRO subscription. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA regarding the license to use the app, the Standard EULA controls.
ForgeLift is a strength-training and workout-logging app that also generates personalized training programs using artificial intelligence. Some features are free; others require a ForgeLift PRO subscription (see below). We may add, change, or remove features over time.
ForgeLift is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
ForgeLift PRO unlocks unlimited AI program generation, advanced analytics, unlimited saved routines, and other premium features. PRO is offered through the following auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchase:

Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase in the app and may vary by region and change over time; the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase governs.
Introductory offer. Eligible new subscribers pay US$3.99 up front for the first 6 months of the monthly subscription. After the introductory period, the subscription automatically renews at the standard price of US$7.99 per month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the introductory period ends.
Billing and auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. After any introductory offer ends, and on each subsequent renewal, auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically for the standard plan period at the then-current standard price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; we are not able to issue refunds directly.
ForgeLift uses a third-party AI service (the Claude API from Anthropic) to generate training programs, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated programs are suggestions produced automatically and may contain errors or may not suit your individual circumstances. You are responsible for deciding whether any program or exercise is appropriate and safe for you.
ForgeLift provides fitness and educational information and AI-generated training suggestions. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Exercise carries inherent risks. Consult a qualified physician or health professional before beginning any exercise program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You use ForgeLift and any program it generates at your own risk.
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except as permitted by law; interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or use the app to violate any law or the rights of others.
The app, its design, and its content (excluding your own data) are owned by John Santia / ForgeLift and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the Standard EULA, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app. You retain your own workout and account data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeLift is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated programs will meet your goals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will John Santia / ForgeLift be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of ForgeLift after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where the Standard EULA or applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
